Our aim
This website is designed to be clear, responsive and practical to use. We aim to follow recognised accessibility principles, including making content perceivable, operable, understandable and robust.
Although Optira is not a public sector body, we treat accessibility as part of good service design and as part of making reasonable adjustments where needed.
What should work
- Text should be readable and resize sensibly on mobile and desktop screens.
- Pages should use headings, landmarks and link text that help people understand the structure.
- Core navigation should be available through ordinary links rather than hidden interactions.
- Forms should include visible labels and clear submit actions.
- Colour should not be the only way important information is communicated.
Known limitations
The site includes visual background images and an AI chatbot. We try to make these usable and non-essential to understanding the main content, but some third-party or interactive features may not behave identically across every browser, device or assistive technology.
Some older content or generated content may need further refinement as the site grows. We will continue to improve templates and page components as issues are found.
Standards we consider
Where practical, we use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines as a reference point for the website. These guidelines are widely used to assess whether digital content is accessible.

If you need information from this website in another format, contact us and we will try to provide a reasonable alternative.
Review
We review accessibility as the website changes. This page will be updated when there are significant changes to the site or to the way accessibility is managed.
